Public Service Commission (GPSC) invites online applications for filling up the
posts of Assistant Director in Gujarat Horticulture Service. Eligible and
interested candidates fulfilling the required eligibility criteria can apply

Educational Qualification: Candidates possessing 2nd
class Master degree in any branch of Horticulture OR bachelor degree in any
branch of Horticulture with 3 years experience can apply. Basic knowledge of
computer and proficiency in Gujarati & Hindi language is also an essential
criterion.
Age Limit: Candidates within the age
limit of 38 years as on last date of receipt of application are eligible to
apply. Relaxation in upper age limit will be extended as per rules. Refer to

Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- with
Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- per month.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to
General category will have to pay Rs. 100/- towards application fee. Reserved
category applicants domiciled in the State of Gujarat are exempted from payment
of fee.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be through
Test & interview.
