A Recruitment Rally for various categories is being organized by Indian Army at District Sports Stadium, Kakinada, East Godavari (A.P.) on 05-15 October, 2016. Eligible and willing persons from six districts of Andhra Pradesh i.e., East Godavari, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, West Godavari, Krishna and Yanam (Puducherry may appear as per specified schedule. Educational Eligibility:

1. Soldier General Duty - SSC/10th pass with min 33% or equivalent grade.

2. Soldier Technical - 10+2 / HSC (Intermediate) pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 45% in aggregate and pass in each subject.

3. Soldier Technical Aviation / Ammunition Examiner - 10+2 / HSC (Intermediate) pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subject with minimum 50% in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

4. Soldier Nursing Assistant - 10+2 / Intermediate pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate or in case of candidate having B.Sc Degree with Botony, Zoology, Bio Science and English (Simple pass), stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level is waived off.

5. Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) - 8th Class Pass for House Keeper, Mess Keeper & Syce trades & SSC/10th Class / ITI Pass for others.

6. Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical - 10+2 / Intermediate pass in any stream (Arts, Science & Commerce) with min 40% in each subject and min 50% in Aggregate.

Age Limitation: Age for the post of Soldier General Duty is 17 Years & 6 Months to 21 Years, i.e., applicant must be born between 01.10.1995 to 01.04.1999 & for all other posts, 17 Years & 6 Months to 23 Years, i.e., applicants must be born between 01.10.1993 to 01.04. 1999.

Emoluments: Selected candidates would be entitled to receive around Rs. 35,000/- per month as salary. In addition, other allowances and facilities will be provided.

Manner of Selection: Applying persons will have to undergo various stages of selection which are indicated below:-

(a) Physical Fitness Test,

(b) Physical Measurement Test,

(c) Medical Examination,

(d) Common Entrance Examination

(e) Verification of documents

Note - Verification of documents, physical fitness tests and medical examination will be held at rally site while Common Entrance Examination will be held at Army Recruiting Office, Visakhapatnam.
