Secondary Education Department of the Govt. of Assam is
devised to conduct Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) Examination in the
subjects of Hindi & Sanskrit for selection of Hindi and Classical (Sanskrit
only) Assistant Teachers at Secondary level. The detailed parameters of
advertisement are indicated hereunder:

Eligibility
Criteria for Assam TET Examination 2016:
Educational
Qualification: (i) Degree from a recognized University with
B.T/B. Ed. from a Govt. recognized University and should possess requisite
qualification of Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks (for Hindi Teacher)
& Shastri with 50% marks (for Sanskrit Teacher)
Age
Binding: Candidates attaining age below 38 years as on 01.01.2016
can apply. Age is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST.
Minimum
qualifying marks for passing TET: Candidates are required to score
at least 60% marks to qualify TET Examination conducted by State Govt. However,
5% relaxation in marks will be provided for candidates belonging to
SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD.
Application
Cost: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/- as application
fee.
Selection
Criteria: All the applying candidates will have to participate in
the written test consisting 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks
in the subject areas of General Studies & Current Affairs (50 marks) and Specific
Subject (50 marks). Final selection will be made on the basis of assessment of aggregate
marks in academic career and TET marks.

Procedure: All the eligible and interested candidates
should apply online through the official website www.rmsaassam.in
Go through the instructions laid down in the
advertisement before proceeding for online registration and submission of
application. The registration site will remain active from 01.02.2016 to
15.02.2016.

of Assam TET Examination 2016:
- Opening date for online registration of application – 01.02.2016
- Closing date for online submission of application – 15.02.2016
- Last date for remittance of fee into Bank – 20.02.2016
- Date of Assam TET Examination – Probably in March/April 2016
