Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC)
has published recently a notification for filling up various posts on
contractual basis in different departments under the Government of Himachal
Pradesh. Willing and suitable candidates who fulfill the required eligibility
conditions can apply in the prescribed application format on or before 26.09.2016
till 11.59 PM. Other details like age limit, educational qualification,
selection process, examination fee & how to apply are given below:-

Educational
Qualification: Candidates should possess Professional
degree in Law from a recognized University or its equivalent for Post No-1; Degree
in Ayurveda not less than five years duration from a recognized Institution
recognized by the Central/ State Government/ CCIM for Post No-2; Master’s
degree in Statistics or Master’s degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Commerce/
Agricultural Economics with Statistics for Post No-3. Refer to official
advertisement for further information.
Upper
Age Limit: Candidates age should be below 35 years for Post No.-1;
45 years and below for Post No-2, 3, 5; and within the age group of 18-45 years
for S.No-4, 6. Cut-off date for calculation of age shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2016.
Age relaxation up to 05 years for SC of H.P/ ST of H.P/ OBC of H.P/ WFF of H.P/
Persons with disabilities of Himachal Pradesh will be applicable as per rules.

Emoluments:
1. Assistant District Attorney – Rs. 25,000/- per
month
2. Ayurvedic Medical Officer – Rs. 19,125/- per
month
3. Research Officer –Rs. 15,300/- per month
4. Assistant Research Officer – Rs. 16,600/- per
month
5. Planning Officer – Rs. 15,300/- per month
6. Asstt. Engineer (Electrical)/ Dy. Manager
(Electrical) – Rs. 22,450/- per month
Selection
Procedure: Candidates will be selected through various
stages which are given below:-
(a) Screening Test
(b) Written Examination
(c) Interview/ Personality Test
Examination
Fee:
Candidates belonging to General will have to pay Rs. 400/- for General category
& Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of HP through ‘e-Challan’ at any
branch of Punjab National Bank or through ‘e-Payment’ option by using Debit or
Credit Card of any nationalized Bank. Ex-Servicemen/ visually impaired
candidates of H.P. are exempted from payment of fee.
How
to Apply: Desirous candidates satisfying the required eligibility
norms as above may apply online through the Commission’s website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc
on or before 26-09-2016 till 11.59 PM.
Candidates must ensure to have their valid
personal email-id and must have downloaded scanned images of latest passport size
colour photograph & signature before applying online.

(i) Firstly, Log on to the website www.hp.gov.in/
hppsc
(ii) Click on “Apply Online’ —> “New User Sign
up here”
(iii) Fill all the details & Click on “Create
User”
(iv) Select the desired post & click on “Click
to Apply”
(v) Fill all the details in each and every field
(vi) Upload scanned images of photograph &
signature.
(vii) Provide the details of payment,
(viii) Verify all the details entered before submitting
the application form.
(ix) Now take printout of online application for
future reference.
