Online applications are invited from Allahabad Bank has given a notification for the recruitment of 60 Specialist Officer Post. Eligible candidates who fulfill the requisite eligibility criteria may apply online from 10.05.2016 to 30.05.2016. Eligibility Criteria for Specialist Officer Post:-
(A) Educational Qualification:
1. Chartered Accountant/ Financial Analyst –Should have passed final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) OR Graduate with CFA/ICWA/Full time MBA (Finance) / Full time PGDBM (Finance).
2. Security Officer – Should be a Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university
3. Civil Engineer - B.E/B.Tech Degree (4-years course) in Civil Engineering from any recognized University.
4. Electrical Engineer - B.E/B.Tech Degree (4-years course) in Electrical Engineering from any recognized University.
(B) Restriction of Age: Candidates lower and upper age limit will be 20 years and 30 years respectively. The date of reckoning for computation of eligibility towards age shall be 1st April, 2016. Age relaxation is allowed up to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD candidates.
Pay Scale (Monthly):
- JMG Scale-I: Rs. 23,700 – 42,020/-
- MMG Scale-II: Rs. 31,705 – 45,950/-
In addition to the basic pay, DA, HRA, CCA etc. will be paid as per Bank’s rules in force from time to time depending upon place of posting.
Method of Selection: The process of selection includes online test followed by interview.
Application Fee: Candidates applying for the post of Specialist Officer will be required to pay a non refundable and non-adjustable fee worth Rs.600/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/ PWD candidates) through online mode only using debit card/credit card/internet banking facility. Bank transaction charges payable against online application fee will have to borne by candidates.

The online registration module will go live from 10.05.2016 and will be enabled till 30.05.2016.
Before proceeding for online registration of application, candidates must ensure to have their valid personal email-id and should scan their latest passport size photograph and signature.
(i) Visit the official website www.allahabadbank.in
(ii) Click on the link “Specialist Officers Recruitment Project 2016-17”
(iii) Now open the option “Apply Online”
(iv) Select the tab “Click here for New Registration”
(v) Enter the Name, Contact details and Email-id to get provisional registration number and password displayed on the system.
(vi) Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format/size,
(vii) Verify all the details mentioned in the application and press the “Submit” button
(viii) Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for online payment,
(ix) Take printed copy of online application and keep it safely for future use.
Important dates to be noted:
Eligibility w.r.t. age, qualification & work experience will be considered as on 1st April 2016
Online Registration opening date is 10th May 2016
Online Registration closing date is 30th May 2016
Payment of Online Application Fee will be done between 20th May 2016 and 30th May 2016 (Both dates inclusive).
Download of call letter for Online Examination will be started after 01st July 2016
Tentative Date of Online Test (if reqd.) is 17th July 2016
