Institute of Himalayas and Environment Development was established on August
1988 by the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India. The
institute is basically, the focal point of the Ministry for imparting
scientific knowledge on conservation of natural resources and their effective
management especially in the Himalayan region. The candidates who wish to be a

Selection
Procedure: The selection to the above positions shall be done
entirely on the basis of the academic qualifications held and the performance
in the Walk-in-Interview which is scheduled to be conducted on 21, 22 & 23
October 2013 respectively on the specified venue for all the eligible
candidates.

Procedure: The application to all the above posts can be made
through e-mail or fax in advance for the applicants who are interested to
participate in the Interview. The candidates will have to report on the
specified venue of Interview for the exam. The candidates must carry their all
documents for verification at the time of Interview.
