United Bank of India (UBI) is a state-owned financial services company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Presently the bank has a three-tier organizational setup consisting of its Head office in Kolkata, 31 Regional offices and 1650 branches spread all over India. However, its major presence is in eastern India. United Bank of India On March 30, 2009, the Indian government decided to approve the restructuring United Bank of India.

Exam Details: United Bank of India (UBI) has published notification against recruitment of 751 Single Window Operators ‘A’ vacancies under Clerical Cadre. Candidates who have taken IBPS CWE for Clerical Cadre in 2011-2012 are only eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply through Online Mode on or before 22/06/2012. United Bank of India is recruiting 751 clerks across the country. The Bank has three full fledged Overseas Branches one each at Kolkata, New Delhi and Mumbai with fully equipped dealing room and SWIFT terminal.

How to get the application Form: Interested candidates can to apply for the post online on or before 22/06/2012. After submission of application candidates must take the print out of Application Form and retain it for further use.

Instructions for Online Application:

Log on to www.unitedbankofindia.com and select the ‘Recruitment’ link to open the links in relation to the notification.

Select the link ‘Deposit Challan’ to apply for the post as per the directions given above.

Make payment with the help of Challan or through any NEFT enabled branch and revisit the Bank’s website to start the Online Application process.

Select the Online Application link to start applying Online for the Clerical post.

Fill all marked details carefully, check once the entire application form and Submit the Online Application.

Take print out of Application Form and retain it for further use to be produced at the time of Interview if asked for.

Exam Pattern:  United Bank of India clerk exam syllabus can cover the following given topics. United Bank of India conducts clerk written exam in two ways 1) Objective test 2) Descriptive test.

Objective test: It consists 4 papers

a) Test of reasoning ability:
Analytical reasoning, picture reasoning, direction, etc.

b) Test of English language:
Grammar & Usage, paragraph questions, hints etc.

c) Test of clerical aptitude:
No particular syllabus given for clerical aptitude, it just for identifying the correct word.

d) Test of quantitative aptitude:
Commission, profit & loss, squares, cubes, data presentations, etc.

Descriptive Test: Descriptive test has no particular syllabus in this section questions come from current affairs and English language.
