High Court of Jammu and Kashmir at Srinagar has
published notification, through Advt. No. 579 dated 01.09.2016, for the
recruitment of District Judges vacancies. Qualified & experienced Advocates
having requisite qualifications & experience may apply in prescribed application
format on or before 26.09.2016. Detailed information regarding age, educational
qualification, selection criteria & how to apply are given below:-

Educational
Qualification: Candidates should possess a Degree in
Law from a recognised university established by Law in India and registered
with the Bar Council of India. Applicant must be a practicing Advocate in the
Court of Law for a period not less than seven years.
Age
Limitation: Candidates age must fall in the range
of 35 years and 45 years as on date of receipt of applications. Relaxation in
upper age limit will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST candidates and 03
years for OBC candidates as per GOI Rules.
Pay
Scale: Rs. 51,550 – 63,070/-
Selection
Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on
Written Examination & Viva-voce. Selection will be made final on the basis
of cumulative grade value scored in the written examination & viva-voce.

Fee:
Candidates under open category should pay Rs. 1000/- for and reserved category
candidates to pay Rs. 700/- by means of demand draft drawn on any branch of Jammu
and Kashmir Bank issued in the name of “Registrar General, High Court of Jammu
and Kashmir”, Payable at Jammu.
How
to Apply: Willing and eligible candidates may send their
application in prescribed format together with two recent passport size colour
photographs (one to be affixed with the application), attested copies of the
academic/ professional qualification certificates, matriculation certificates,
state subject and demand draft to the Office of the Registrar (Judicial), High
Court of Jammu & Kashmir on or before 26.09.2016 during office hours.
