Border Security Force (BSF) is carrying out recruitment rally for the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Interested male and female candidates domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir can apply in the specific format within due date.  The details regarding age, qualification, selection criteria, application procedure are given below:-

Overall No. of Vacancies: There are total 1206 posts need to be filled, out of which 206 posts are reserved for female for the year 2015-16 and 1000 fresh positions  open for male and female both.

Essential Qualification: Candidates should have passed Matriculation / 10^th class or equivalent examination from Govt. recognized board/institution.

Age Limitation: Age should be between 18 – 23 years as on 01.08.2016. Relaxation will be as under:-

05 years for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC

Physical Standard:

i) Height:-

For Male – 170 cms (162.5 cms for SC/ST candidates)

For Female – 157 cms (150 cms for SC/ST candidates)

ii) Chest:-

For Male – Unexpanded  80 cms (76cms for SC/ST candidates)

               Expanded Min. Expansion – 5 cms

Weight:- Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Pay Scale: The post carries Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- in the Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5,200/- to 20,200/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.

Selection Procedure: Recruitment process involves Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Written Test. Final selection will be done after document verification and medical fitness test.

How to apply: Interested candidates fulfilling the required eligibility conditions may personally appear for PST & PET Centre designated in respect of their districts from 24.08.2016 to 02.09.2016 for registration of applications. Candidates attending PST/PET should bring duly filled in applications in the prescribed format enclosed with attested copies of certificates & testimonials pertaining to educational qualification, age proof, domicile certificate and any other relevant documents.

• Losing date for submission of application – 02^nd September 2016
