Uttarakhand Transport Corporation (UTC), under the Govt.
of Uttarakhand, has released recruitment notification for the selection of 300 regular
Driver vacancies on direct recruitment basis for engagement in Dehradun,
Nainital and Tanakpur region. Eligible and willing contenders can apply in
prescribed application proforma on or before 20.06.2016. Other details related
to age, educational qualification, selection procedure & how to apply are
mentioned below:-

Place
of Work: The appointed persons will be posted in Dehraun,
Nainital & Tanakpur regions of the State of Uttarakhand.
Eligibility
Criteria (As on 01.01.2016) -
(i)
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed 8th
class examination and possess valid HMV license with 5 years experience of
driving.
(ii)
Age Limit: Candidates who are applying for the post of
Driver should have completed 18 years of age. Maximum age limit for unreserved
category is 42 years. Relaxation in age limit for reserved category persons will
be extended as per Government directives.
Pay
Scale: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 + Rs. 1,900/- (Grade Pay) with
usual allowances payable as per rules prevailing from time to time. Total
initial emoluments would be around Rs. 18,000/- per month.
Examination
Fee:
Candidates applying for the concerned post will have to pay examination fee in
the form of bank draft drawn on any nationalized bank issued in the name of “Divisional
Manager (Operation), Uttarakhand Transport Corporation”, payable at respective
location. Payment shall be made in the following manner:-
- Rs. 200/- for General/OBC category applicants,
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST category applicants.
Selection
Methodology: Candidates selection will be made on the
basis of Primary & Secondary Test.
(i) Primary Test: 100 Marks
(ii) Secondary Test: 50 Marks
