Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) plans
to employ suitable and capable persons for the post of Laboratory Assistant on
contractual basis in the Govt. Polytechnics & Engineering Schools in the
State under the DTET Odisha. Candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility
criteria may apply online from 27.06.2016 to 26.07.2016 till 11:59 PM. The

Eligibility
Criteria for OSSC Recruitment 2016:-
(i)
Educational Qualification: Candidates possessing first
class in 3 years regular Diploma in respective discipline/branch from AICTE
approved Diploma institutes are eligible to apply. Candidates must be able to read, write and
speak Odia. Refer to official advertisement for detailed information.
(ii)
Age Limit: The minimum & maximum age for the post is
18 years and 32 years respectively. The crucial age will be calculated as on
01.01.2016, i.e. applicant not enjoying relaxation benefit must not have been
born earlier than 2nd Jan. 1984 and not later than 1st
Jan. 1998.
Relaxation in upper age limit would be
available as under:-
- Up to 5 years for SC/ST /SEBC & Women
candidates
- Up to 10 years for PWD candidates and
- Up to the total period of service rendered in
case of Ex-servicemen
Salary
Payable: The selected candidates will be offered
consolidated remuneration worth Rs. 5,200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/- per
month.
Criteria
of Appointment: Selection will be made through
common objective written test. There is no provision for viva-voce test. Merit
list will be prepared on the basis of performance in written test.
Examination Fee: Candidates belonging
to Unreserved and SEBC category will be required to pay Rs. 100/- as
examination fee either through online or offline mode using Treasury portal or
by depositing cash through Treasury Challan.SC/ST & PWD candidates are
exempted from payment of examination fee.
How
to apply: Interested candidates who meet the above
mentioned eligibility criteria can apply online using Commission’s website www.ossc.gov.in
The online portal will be enabled from
27.06.2016 and will be opened till 26.07.2016 by 11:59 PM. Candidates are
advised to go through the contents of detailed advertisement before proceeding
to apply online.
After filling online application, candidates
should upload the scanned images of recent passport size photograph and full
signature as per prescribed format/size.
Candidates should take print out of Applicants’
copy & OSSC copy of the system generated online application and retain it
for future use.
