CBEC Chennai Recruitment 2016 – Tax Assistant & Havaldar Posts

O/o the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Chennai, Ministry of Finance, has published an appointment notification for the selection of meritorious sportspersons for the post of Tax Assistant & Havaldar in various sports/ games disciplines. Sportspersons who have presented themselves in any of the games/sports as listed below can apply in prescribed application format on or before 01.06.2016 (05:00 PM). Posting Location: The selected candidates will be posted anywhere in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.

Educational Qualification:

• Tax Assistant - Graduate in any discipline from recognised University with data entry speed of 8,000 keys depression per hour.

• Havaldar – Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board/institution

Age Limitation:

• Tax Assistant – Between 18-27 years as on 01.06.2016

• Havaldar – Between 18-27 years as on 16.04.2016

Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Govt. servants will be followed as per rules.

Pay Scale:

• Tax Assistant – Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/- per month

• Havaldar – Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/- per month

Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates will be required to face Trials, Interview and medical fitness test.

How to Apply: Interested candidates will have to obtain prescribed application format which can be downloaded from official website www.centralexcisechennai.com or www.cbec.gov.in

Duly filled application with one latest passport size photograph pasted and signed by applicant and another photograph should be enclosed with the application.

Application should be accompanied with self-attested documents and certificates in support of age, educational qualification & certificates, respective certificates related to concerned sports/games, caste certificates etc.

Application along with all the necessary enclosures should be sealed in an envelope superscribing as “Application for the post of Tax Assistant & Havaldar under Sports Quota Recruitment”
