BSSC Recruitment 2016 – Sanitary Inspector Posts

Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has circulated recruitment advertisement for filling up the post of Sanitary Inspector to work in the Department of Health, Govt. of Bihar. Online applications are invited from eligible and interested persons for the aforesaid positions from a period between 13.05.2016 and 08.06.2016. Detailed particulars of Bihar SSC Recruitment 2016:

Designation Presently Offered: Sanitary Inspector

Tentative No. of Vacancies: 276 Posts

Category-wise of segregation of Posts:

(i) Unreserved – 142 vacancies

(ii) OBC – 32 vacancies

(iii) BC – 48 vacancies

(iv) BC (Female) – 09 vacancies

(v) SC – 42 vacancies

(vi) ST – 03 vacancies

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects and possess Diploma in Sanitary Inspector course can apply.

Age Restriction: The lower and upper age will be considered as on 1^st Aug. 2015. The category-wise details of age are as follows:-

• General candidates (Male) – 21 years to 37 years

• General candidates (Female) – 21 years to 40 years

• BC & OBC (Male/Female) – 21 years to 40 years

• SC & ST (all Male/Female) – 21 years to 42 years

Application Fee: Applicants will have to make payment of requisite application fee (non-refundable) through SBI I-Collect/Challan deposited into any branch of State Bank of India. The payment should be made in the following ways:-

• General/BC/OBC candidates – Rs. 750/-

• SC/ST candidates (Bihar state only) – Rs. 200/-

• Candidates other than Bihar State (all categories) – Rs. 750/-

Bank transaction charges are to be borne by applicants separately.

Selection Criteria: The candidates’ selection will be done on the basis of written competitive examination followed by interview.

How to Apply for BSSC Recruitment 2016: Interested applicants who fulfill the required eligibility criteria can apply online. The online server will be active from 13.05.2016 and will remain enabled till 08.06.2016 (12:00 mid night).
