Essential Qualification: Candidates should have passed High School Certificate Examination or equivalent from recognized board/institute and able to read, write & speak Odia language.
Physical Standards:
Age Limit: Candidates who are applying for the Constable post should attain age between 18 and 23 years as on 01.01.2015. Relaxation in upper age limit extended as per rules.
Pay Scale (p.m.): Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade pay Rs. 1,900/-
Hiring Method: Interested candidates will have to undergo written examination and Physical measurement / physical efficiency test/driving test. After successfully qualifying the test, medical examination will be done. Candidate will be appointed for the post only after found medically fit.

Examination Fee: Applicants other than SC/ST communities should pay non-refundable amount of Rs.150/- in the form of demand draft/Indian Postal Order payable in favour of concerned Supdt. of Police of the respective district.
