The Indian Railways Diesel Locomotive
Works has announced the recruitment for the post of Medical Practitioner
including both General Duty Doctor and Specialist. The applications are invited

Pay Scale: 39,100
for General Duty; 46,800 for Specialist
Other Details of Employment:
Eligibility Conditions:
The candidates in order to be eligible
for the position of General Doctor must have a PG Degree in Gynecology
(MD/DNB/DGO) or a PG Diploma in the concerned field for the position of
Specialist. The candidate must be MBBS and fully registered with the Medical
Council of India.
Age Boundation: The
eligible candidate must not be more than 50 years of age w.e.f. 1st
October 2013.
Contract Period: The
candidates will be selected on a contract basis for a period of one year, which
can be extended upto a maximum of 8 years at the discretion of the selection
committee subject to the performance of candidate.
Selection Procedure: The
selections to the above positions shall be made on the basis of
Walk-in-Interview which is scheduled to be held on 30th October
2013. The candidates who wish to apply for the position must report for the
Interview on the specified date at 10:00 a.m. on the venue specified. The
candidates must bring all necessary documents along with them at the time of
the Interview. The documents include the Original Mark-Sheets, Experience
Certificates and other documents of testimonial.

prescribed format as mentioned below. The application must be made on a plane
paper including the following details- Name of the Applicant, Father/Husband
Name, DOB, Caste, Educational & Professional Qualifications, Address of the
