Tips to Overcome Interview Syndrome…!!!

New comers are always scared of facing interview. Although the scenario is changing and the youths are more confident today but somewhere the lack of experience increases the anxiety level and nervousness at the time of Interview. In the aggressive world of competition to be the best among all is everyone’s priority.

Here are some tips to overcome interview fear and to present oneself effectively in front of interviewer:
  • Presentable: One has to be presentable. As it is rightly said first impression is long lasting. It has an image of person on anyone’s mind for longer period of time. It proves to be very fruitful and retain for long.
  • Punctuality: One must reach on time at the interview venue.  It gives good impression about the contender.
  • Resume: The resume of the interviewee must have all the information regarding skills and profile of the contender.
  • Personality: Facial expressions, Dressing Sense, Attitude, Etiquettes, Gestures, Way of talking, etc, should be pleasing and attractive.
  • Body Language: Body language should have the positive attitude. Nail biting, unnecessary panicking and sweating gives wrong impression, it reveals the nervousness of the contender in front of interviewer. These things should be avoided.
  • Eye Contact: While answering to the questions of interviewer. It is very important to maintain eye contact. It shows the level of confidence in an individual. 
  • Communication Skills: Maintain the pace and flow when conversation is on. Take a deep breath before answering to any question. It is not necessary to speak abruptly without listening to what is asked. Use communication skills effectively and efficiently.
  • Company Profile: The interviewee must be aware of company profile. Know the mission, vision and objectives of the company. Know the Job for which one is applying for.
  • Confrontation: In case of dispute keep calm. State your own perspective and thinking, disagreement, agreement and other such issues gently. Be generous while conversation.
  • Competency: State your own skills, efficiency, and effectiveness as well as clearly mention how you can be beneficial to the company.

To be outstanding in an interview one has to switch best in oneself. Learn from every interview faceoff and do not repeat previous mistakes in any upcoming interview. Don’t panic it’s just a beginning there is a lot in the way to come. Be confident and be prepared for next interview.
