PMET Exam Details: Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) is a common state level
entrance exam being conducted each year for admission to various UG like MBBS,
BDS, BAMS and BHMS offered by Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic or Homeopathic
Institutes across Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria: Desired & Interested candidates can be completed in
Under Graduate Degree courses like Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery,
Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery,
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.
Exam Pattern:
1. The Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) test paper consists
of 200 objective type questions.
2. Candidate needs to select one right from the four multiple
choice answers.
3. Each correct answer carries four marks.
4. There will be one negative mark for each wrong answer.
5. The test duration is 15 minutes.
6. The questions will be from the 12th subjects such as
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
How to accomplished Candidature for
this Recruitment: -
A. Prospectus containing OMR Application form and other
conditions shall be available at the counter in office of Baba Farid University
of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
B. Candidates can also get the application prospectus at the
branches of Oriental Bank of commerce on cash payment of Rs. 1000/- from
21/03/2012 onwards. The banks shall not supply prospectus by post.
C. However, candidates can get the same by post on sending a
request to the University along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn on any
scheduled bank in favor of Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health
Sciences, Faridkot, payable at Faridkot.
D. Candidates are advised to ensure deposition of OMR
application form by due date/time by hand at BFUHS campus, Faridkot and not take
risk of delivery by Post. BFUHS will not be liable for any loss due to postal
delay.
E. OMR application forms received after 27/04/2012 will not be
entertained at all.
