The Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited is an autonomous public sector unit functioning directly under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. The organization has been functioning since, October 1972 for the exploration and exploitation of the mineral resources of the country of that area. The main objective of the organization is to provide cost-effective and high-quality services in the area of mineral extraction and exploitation for utilization in the scientific works.

Pay Scale: 12,600-32,500- Junior Programmer
                  8500-18,600- Computer Operator

Citizenship: Indian

Other Details of Recruitment:

Age Boundation: The candidate in order to be eligible for the concerned positions must not be more than 30 years of age.

Eligibility Conditions: The candidates applying for the position of Junior Programmer must be a B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science/IT/Computer Applications/Computer Technology or he must be a M.E./M.Tech. in the concerned disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks or 60% marks in case of M.E./M.Tech degree holders respectively.

The candidates who are applying for the position of Computer Operator must have a degree of three years in graduation from any stream with a one year Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/IT/Computer Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in the discipline concerned. An additional requirement of work experience in MS-Office, Programming, Windows Vista/7/8, Page Maker, Data Structuring, Computer Organization, Computer Fundamentals, Photoshop/Dream Weaver, Paint Brush etc. will be preferred for the candidates as desirable for the eligibility to this job.

Selection Procedure: The selections for both the positions shall be done on the basis of the written test conducted as specified by the selection committee.
