Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Qualification
: Master
s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the following subjects: OR Two years integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the following subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institutions norms).

1. PGT (Physics) Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics

2. PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry

3. PGT (Mathematics) Mathematics

4. PGT (Hindi ) Hindi

5. PGT (Computer Science) B.E, or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/University recognized by the Govt. of India. OR M.Sc. (Computer Science)/MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR
B Level from DOEACC, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Post Graduate Degree in any subject. OR C Level from DOEACC, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation. Desirable: Knowledge of Multi-Media and Web Technology, Computer Science and Informatics Practices.

ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University. iii) Proficiency in teaching in English medium. Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium. Note: Candidates having Special B.Ed. are not eligible for the post of PGT.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) 

Essential: i) Three years Bachelor
s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate. OR Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institutions norms) in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.

1. TGT (English) English as a main subject in all the three years.

2. TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit
) Hindi or Sanskrit as an elective subject along with B.Ed. with Hindi and Sanskrit as teaching subject.

3. TGT (Mathematics/Physics) Mathematics and Physics.

4. TGT (PET)-Female/5. TGT(PET)-Male

Essential: (i) Bachelor
s Degree in Physical Education from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institutions norms). (ii) Proficiency in teaching in English medium. Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium.

6. TGT-Art

Essential: (i) Five years recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art or equivalent recognized degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institution
s norms) (ii) Proficiency in teaching in English medium. Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium.

ii) Pas
s in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) (Paper-II), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized University. iv) Proficiency in teaching in English medium (except for TGT (Hindi/Sanskrit). Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium. Note: The candidates with professional qualification of Special B.Ed. or D.Ed. or Special D.Ed. are not eligible to apply for these posts.

Primary Teacher 

Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/institution
s norms). OR Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University /Institutions norms). Candidates with commerce at 10 + 2 stage/Intermediate are not eligible. ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) (Paper I) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. iii) English as a subject in class XII is mandatory. iv) Proficiency in teaching in English medium. Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium. Note: The candidate should possess two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)

Primary Teacher (Music) 

Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institution
s norms). OR Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/ institutions norms) AND ii) Bachelors Degree in Music or equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institutions norms) from a recognized University. iii) Proficiency in teaching in English Medium. Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi medium.

Teaching Experience: Experience is desirable for all the posts (not mandatory
).

Pay and age limit:


PGT Rs.27,500,  40 years

TGT Rs.26,250, 35 years

PRT Rs.21,250, 30 years 


Method of Selection : Written Test/ Interview

Hiring Process : Written-test, Face to Face Interview

How to Apply: Interested candidates may report for registration on the scheduled dates one hour before the schedule of the written test. They should bring attested copies of the certificate/testimonials along with originals and a passport photograph for verification.
