West Bengal Staff SSC invited application for the post
of 42 Stenographer under Finance Department & Consumer Affairs Department,
Government of West Bengal. Eligible and interested candidates who fulfill the

Eligibility
Criteria for WBSSC Recruitment:
Educational
Qualification: Candidates should have passed
Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal board of Secondary Education or its
equivalent and having knowledge in Computer Literacy.
Age
Limit: As on 01.01.2016 –
Minimum Age – 18 years
Maximum Age – 32 years
Relaxation
in Upper Age Limit:
- SC and ST candidates of West Bengal - 5 years
- Other Backward Classes of West Bengal - 3 years
- PH Candidates - 05 years
Pay
Scale: (PB-3) Rs. 7100-37600/-+ Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-
Work

Selection
Criteria: Selection process involves conduct of online
examination consisting of Paper-I / Paper-II / Paper-III
Examination/Processing
Fee:
Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Persons with
Disabilities (40% and above only) will be required to pay only processing fee Rs.
20/- and all others to pay Rs. 220/- (including Examination Fee Rs. 200/-) through
Debit Cards / Credits Cards / Net banking or through Tathya Mitra Kendras.
