Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd.
(KPTCL) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 1921 Engineer &
Accounts Officer & Assistant Posts in KPTCL and its Electricity
Distribution Companies (ESCOMs) i.e. BESCOM, CESC, HESCOM & GESCOM.
Eligible candidates fulfilling the required eligibility conditions can apply in
the prescribed application format from 08.09.2016 to 28.09.2016. Other details

Educational
Qualification: Candidates should possess acquired
B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering for Post No-1;
acquired B.E of a recognized University or AMIE (India) qualification in
Electrical and Electrical & Electronics for Post No-2; B.E in Civil Engineering
for Post No-3; M.Com or MBA (Finance)
for S.No-4; Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering for
Post. No. 5; Diploma in Civil Engineering for Post No. 6; Bachelor degree for
Post No. 7 & PUC qualification or Diploma
in Accountancy & Auditing for Post No. 8.
Age
Limit: Candidates age should fall in the range of 18-35
years for General Merit; 18-38 years for category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB
candidates & 18-40 years for SC/ ST & category I candidates as on the
last date fixed for receipt of application. Age relaxation of 3 years will be
applicable to Ex-Military Personnel (EX-MP). Refer to official notification for
further information.
Selection
Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on Merit &
Online Aptitude Test.
Application
Fee:
Candidates belong to SC/ST category should pay Rs. 300/- and candidates
belonging to General & Category I, IIA,IIB, IIIA, IIIB will have to pay Rs.
500/- towards application fee through any post Office in the Jurisdiction of
Karnataka. In addition to the prescribed application fee an additional amount
of Rs. 15/- will be added as service charges of postal department.
