Professor (College Cadre) Class-I (Gazetted) on contract basis in the
Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh. Eligible candidates
fulfilling the required eligibility criteria can apply online on or before

Qualification: Candidates should possess Masters
Degree in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent
degree from foreign University recognized by the Government of India with at
least 55% marks or an equivalent & qualified the National Eligibility Test
(NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR/ or similar
test accredited the State Public Service Commission.
Upper
Age Limit: Candidates applying for the post should be aged
below 45 years as on 01.01.2016. Relaxation in higher age limit as prescribed
will be allowed up to five years for SC & other prescribed reserved
categories (OPRC) candidates of Himachal Pradesh is applicable.
Methodology
of Hiring: Candidates will be shortlisted for /screening
test/viva-voce/ Personality Test/ interview.
Examination
Fee: The requisite fee should be paid by e-Challan
deposited at any branch of Punjab National Bank or through e-Payment using
Debit/ Credit Card of any Bank. The application fee payable by the candidates
will be as follows:-
- General Category – Rs. 400/-
- S.C. of H.P. /S.T. of H.P. /O.B.C. of H.P – Rs. 100/-
- Ex-Servicemen of H.P/ Blind of H.P./ Visually Impaired of H.P – No Fee

website www.hppsc.hp.gov.in on or before 04.07.2016 till 11:59 PM. 1. Candidate
must ensure to have a valid personal email ID & scanned copies of
photograph & signature before proceeding for online registration of
application.

(ii) Click on “Apply Online”
(iii) Now click on “Registered User (if
registered)/ New User Sign Up here (if not registered)”
(iv) Now Online Recruitment Application (ORA)
can be displayed on the computer screen
(v) Fill all the details carefully &
submit the application form
(v) Take Print out of online application form
for future reference.
