(Tradesmen) Vacancy in CISF Recruitment 2016
A career notification has been released by Central
Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the recruitment of 137 Constables in
various trades such as Barber, Boot Maker, Cook, Mali, Painter, Sweeper & Washerman
under the scheme of “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” on
temporary basis in various regions. Only male Indian citizens possessing
requisite qualifications can apply in prescribed application format on or
before 09.05.2016 (16.05.2016 for residents of North East Region). Detailed
information regarding age limit, educational qualification, selection process,
application fee & procedure of submission of applications are given below.

Place
of Posting: Candidates selected for the post
of Constables/Tradesmen will be posted at anywhere in India.
Basic
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification
from a recognised Board / institution.
Professional
Qualification: ITI certificate in relevant trade.
Range
of Age: Minimum and maximum age prescribed for the
CISF Recruitment 2016 will be as follows:-
- General – 18 to 23 years
- OBC – 18 to 26 years
- SC/ST – 18 to 28 years
The upper and lower limit of age will be
calculated as on 1st August 2016. Ex-servicemen & PWD candidates
will get relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
Scale of Pay: Selected candidates will be offered Pay
Band-I Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- per month plus
usual and admissible allowances given to the Central Government employees from
time to time.
Application
Fee:
Applicants will need to make a payment of Rs. 50/- in the form of India Postal
Order issued in favour of Assistant Commandant/ DDO, CISF relevant zones, payable
at the post offices GPO Patna/ Mumbai/ New Delhi/ Chennai/ Kolkata. Application
fee will be exempted for candidates belonging to SC/ ST and Ex Serviceman.
Mode
of Selection: Candidates selection involves
following stages:-
(i) Eligibility Test,
(ii) Physical Efficiency Test (PET),
(iii) Written Test/Trade Test,
(iv) Preparation of merit list,
(v) Medical Examination.
How
to Apply: Eligible candidates willing to serve in the
organisation may send their signed application in prescribed format with one recent
passport size photograph affixed on the space provided in the application and
another identical photograph affixed on the admit card along with self attested
copies of testimonials/certificates pertaining to age, educational qualification, date of birth,
caste, 02 self addressed envelopes (8 x 19 cms size) duly affixing postal stamps
for Rs. 22/-, super scribed as “Application for the Post of ……………. in CISF
– 2016″ to the DIG, CISF of respective zones
on or before due date as specified below:-
