Requisite Qualification – Vacancy seekers are required to possess Graduation degree from recognized university/institution and having Information Technology Certificate (O level certificate of DOEACC).


Age Bindings: 18 to 37 years of age is prescribed for the post. Upper age limit is extendable for reserved category as per guidelines issued by Govt. of Punjab.

Pay Scale – The selected candidates holding the post will be provided initial scale of Rs. 10,300 to 34,800/- + GP Rs. 3200/- per month.

Application Fee – Candidates applying under the Punjab SSSB Recruitment 2016 are required to make payment of Rs. 300/- through challan to be deposited into any nearest branch of State Bank of India.

Mode of Selection – Candidates will be enrolled through the performance in written test followed by interview.

How to apply – Candidates interested for the said position will have to apply online through the official website www.punjabsssb.gov.in between 15th February 2016 and 01st March 2016 up to 05:00 PM. Applicants must go through the detailed instructions before online registration and submission of applications.


Steps to apply online:

(i) Log on to the official link www.punjabsssb.gov.in
(ii) Select the menu “Online Application”
(iii) Click on to the link “Online Application for Advt No. 4/2015 (Clerks & Data Entry Operator)”
(iv) Read instructions before proceeding for online registration,
(v) Select the option “New Registration”
(vi) Online Application format will be displayed on the screen,
(vii) Fill all the details and upload scanned image of photograph and signature
(viii)  Submit after verifying all the entries
(ix) Take printed copy of online application for future usage

  • Opening date of online registration of application is 15.02.2016
  • Closing date of online submission of application is 01.03.2016
  • Last date for payment of fee at SBI branch is 04.03.2016
  • Last date for uploading photograph & signature is 10.03.2016
