Civil Judge Vacancy in Karnataka High Court Recruitment 2016

An employment opportunity has been created by Office of the Registrar General, Karnataka High Court, Bangalore for filling up 124 vacant posts of Civil Judges under direct recruitment. Candidates selected for the post will have to undergo training for a period not less than one year. The details of vacancies are indicated as under:

Prescribed Educational Qualification: Candidates who are applying for the above post should possess Degree in Law from any recognized university and must have enrolled as an Advocate.

Age Binding: Upper age limit for SC/ST is 38 years and 35 years for all other. The crucial date for determining age will be last date for receipt of application. Relaxation for Ex-serviceman will be 03 years.

Scale of Pay:  Initial basic pay distributed to the incumbent is Rs. 27,700 – 44,770/- p.m.

Mode of Appointment: Selection process includes aggregate marks scored in the preliminary examination (100 marks), main examination (400 marks), Computer test (25 marks) and viva-voce (100 marks) conducted by High Court. Candidates having higher marks in the merit list will be selected.

Remittance of Fee: Candidates appearing for Preliminary Examination will have to pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Category-I) & appearing for Main Examination will have to remit Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/Category-I) by way of non-refundable e-challan deposited into Bank or through SBI Online payment gateway.
