Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) invites

Trainee (Electrical) and Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical) for engagement
in the Western/ Northern Region Interconnector Project - Champa (Western Region
Transmission System-I). Candidates who meet the job specifications can apply
before stipulated date.

1. Diploma
Trainee (Electrical) – SDT
No.
of vacancy: 05 (UR-01, OBC (NCL)-01, SC-01)
Qualification: Diploma
in Electrical Engineering with minimum 70% marks for GEN/ OBC (NCL)/ ST/PwD and
pass marks for SC candidates.
Age: 18-27
years as on 28.12.2015
Stipend: Rs.
16,500/- p.m. during training period
Pay
Scale: Rs. 16,000 – 35,500/- p.m.

of Selection: Written test & personal Interview
2. Jr.
Technician Trainee (Electrical)
No.
of vacancy: 07 (UR-03, OBC (NCL)-02, SC-01, ST-01)
Qualification: ITI
(Electrical) pass in Electrician trade from a recognized Technical Board/
Institute.
Age: 18-27
years as on 28.12.2015
Stipend: 11,000/-
per month during training period
Pay
Scale: Rs. 11,500 – 26,000/- p.m.
Mode
of Selection: Written Test, Trade Test & personal
Interview.
Note: Reservation,
relaxation and concession to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/ESM available as per rules.

candidates belonging to Unreserved & OBC (NCL) category should pay Rs.
300/- plus bank charges Rs. 60/- in case of Diploma Trainee Post & Rs.
200/- plus bank charges Rs. 60/- in case of Jr. Technician Trainee Post. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM/
Departmental are exempted from payment of fee.

enclosures and a copy of Bank Challan should be sent Ordinary Post/ Speed Post to
