Nurse Vacancy 2015-16: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)
Online applications are invited for selection of Staff
Nurses in Govt. & Autonomous Institute in the State of Karnataka through competitive
examination conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Eligible and
interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply latest by
02.12.2015. The details of post & other terms and conditions are stated as
under.
Name
of the Post: Staff Nurse
Total
No. of Vacancy: 1064 Posts
Out of the total 1064 Posts, 243 Posts are reserved for
B.Sc. Degree holders & 821 Posts reserved for Diploma holders.
Educational
Qualification: the aspiring candidates should possess
degree in B.Sc. Nursing from recognized university/institution or Certificate
in General Nursing Course of not less than 03 years & a certificate in
Midwifery or Psychiatric Nursing Course of not less than 6 months from recognized
institute. The registration in Karnataka Nursing Council is essential for all.
Age
Limit: General candidate should attain age not greater than 35
years. Maximum relaxable limit of age for 2A,2B,3A,3B is 38 years & for SC/ST
/category-I candidates is 40 years. The upper age limit will be counted as on
last date of receipt of application.
Scale
of Pay: The pay scale for the appointees is Rs.17,650 – 32,000/-
per month.
Examination
Fee: Candidates under General category & OBC to pay Rs.
500/- ; SC/ST to pay Rs. 300/- as application fee. Differently Abled candidates
are exempted from payment of fee. Fee shall be paid in the specified banks
only.
Mode
of Selection: Suitable candidates will be called for
written test & those qualifying in the test would be invited for personal
interview for final selection.
How
to apply: Applications for the above posts are accepted online through
KEA website. The official link for online registration of application will
remain functional between 02.11.2015 (11:00 AM) and 02.12.2015 (05:30 PM).
Applicants must read instructions and procedures thoroughly before proceeding
for online registration.
