Madras University is one of the oldest and largest universities’ of South India. The university is the third oldest university after university of Calcutta and university of Mumbai. The university is situated in Tamil Nadu and it has a total of six campuses. These campuses have different colleges attached with it that excel in imparting education for different areas of disciplines. The admissions are open for admission through the distance mode of education in all courses. For pursuing admission in higher education from University of Madras the applicants should approach the university department, colleges and institutions for obtaining application form and Brochure in order to know the course structure and fees information. For those applicants that reside outside Madras, the admission is done on the basis of an Eligibility certificate issued by the university for the above purpose. The applicants from overseas need to have a valid visa along with formal education in the subject concerned for admission to the respective courses.
