Annamalai
University is a Asia’s one of the largest public residential university,
founded by the Hon’ble Dr. Rajah Sir Annamalai Chettiar of Tamil Nadu. This
university provides education in higher studies of Science, Engineering,
Humanities, Agriculture and Arts. The university not only provides education in
regular degree courses but it also offers more than 500 courses through
distance mode of education to students of Tamil Nadu as well as from outside

Admission
Procedure:
The
admission to Annamalai University is done on the basis of the marks obtained in
the Qualifying Examination i.e. 10+2 marks (with a min. of 40% marks for
Integrated programs) in concerned subject will be considered for admission to
the Bachelor Courses and For the PG programs; it is the three year degree
course that is the criteria for the selection in the PG courses. The students
should make sure to read the eligibility criteria before applying for a
particular course in the university.
Eligibility
Conditions:
For
Undergraduate courses: The
candidate must be a graduate in the concerned subject from any of the
recognized university prescribed for this purpose. Also, the candidate must
hold degree in the concerned subject of the course under application.
For
Postgraduate courses: The candidate must hold a three
year degree in graduation of the concerned discipline for which application is
made from any of the colleges of Annamalai university or any university
recognized for that purpose.
Application
Procedure:
The
application to any of the courses can be done by obtaining application and
prospectus from the Registrar of the university on paying application fee in
the form of DD or it can also be bought through post by drawing a DD in favor
of the Registrar of the University.
