JEE Advance exam 2014-15

JEE Advance (Joint Entrance Examination) is conducted for admission in engineering colleges. JEE ADVANCED and its counterpart JEE main is conducted by CBSE JEE Advance is only for IITs.

Vital Dates:
Application Form JEE Advanced 2013: 1st Nov 2012
Closing Date of Application Form: 15th Dec 2012
Registration of Applicants for JEE Advanced 2013: 8th May to 13th May 2013.
Examination Date of JEE Advanced: June 2nd, 2013
Mode of Examination: Offline

Educational Qualifications: IITs or ISM Dhanbad can be joined by any applicant on the basis of merit applicant must be holding at least 60% of aggregate marks in Board examination.

Application Fees:  Amount payable for fee is Rs.1800/- for General category and Rs.900/- for SC, ST, PD categories.

Procedure to Apply: Online application form will be available at the website Applicant willing to apply for JEE (Advanced) - 2013 exam should have to appear in JEE (Main) - 2013, Paper-I. After registering applicant need to pay fee and then it has to be enclosed with important documents that will have to be sent to Zonal IIT for which applicant has registered.

Exam Pattern: There will be 2 papers objective types of 3 hrs duration in English as well as Hindi Language from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in form of Objective types with minus marking on incorrect answer. Read more at for recruitment information in India.

Physics (General, Mechanics, Thermal physics, Electricity and magnetism, Electromagnetic induction, Optics, Wave nature of light, Modern physics)
Chemistry (Atomic structure and chemical bonding, Gaseous and liquid states, Physical chemistry, General topics, Energetics, equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Chemical kinetics, Solid state, Solutions, Surface chemistry, Nuclear chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Preparation and properties of the following compounds, Transition elements (3d series):Preparation and properties of the following compounds, Extractive metallurgy, Principles of qualitative analysis, Organic Chemistry Concepts, Preparation, properties and reactions of alkenes, Preparation, properties and reactions of alkenes and alkynes, Reactions of benzene, Phenols, Characteristic reactions of the following (including those mentioned above):,Carbohydrates, Amino acids and peptides, Properties and uses of some important polymers, Practical organic chemistry)
