entrance exam is held to take admission into two year full time
Post-Graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business
Administration (MBA), Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post
Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management (PGDBM), Post Graduate
Diploma Course in Management (PGDM). The Directorate of Technical
Education (DTE) has declared the exam dates for MHCET. The MHCET will be
conducted on 11/03/2012.
Eligibility Criteria: Desired & Eligible candidates can posses in Master Degree courses like Post
Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management, Master of Business Administration, Master of Management Studies.
Exam Pattern: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) is a
single level management entrance exam consisting of 200 questions in
total and the duration of the paper is of 3.00 Hours (180 minutes).
There is an added advantage for those who are taking the MH-CET exam as
there is no Negative mark in the paper. Apart from this there is no
sectional division unlike other management exams. The question paper
comprises questions from Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data
Interpretation/Sufficiency and Reasoning.
Paper I : Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)
Paper II : Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 marks each)
Paper III : Mathematics (100 Marks)

recruitment is Rs. 1,150/- For General
Category and Rs. 950/- For Reserved Category.
How to accomplished Candidature for this Recruitment: - Interested candidates can apply for the MHCET exam by the online & offline methods.
1. Online Application: Applicants
can fill up the online application through the official web site:
www.dte.org.in/mba. For that the applicants are required to upload
his/her photo and signature as per the instructions given in the site.
Each candidate will be allocated with an application ID and Password and
they are requested to preserve the application kit. The cost of the
application form is Rs.1, 150/- for general category and Rs.950/- for
reserved category.
2. Offline Application: Applications sent
by Post/Courier etc. will not be accepted and there will be no
communication in this regard as it has done by the candidates. Documents
are not required at the time of submitting the application form and are
advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document
verification.
