Eligible applicants can posses in Bachelor & Master Degree courses
like Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Architecture, Master of
Computer Application, Master of Science, Master of Engineering from any
recognized board institute of India.
Exam Details: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for
various Bachelor & Master Degree courses such as B.Tech (Bachelor
of Technology), B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), BE (Bachelor of
Engineering), MCA (Master of Computer Application), MA (Master of Arts),
M.Sc (Master of Science), ME (Master of Engineering), M.Tech (Master of
Technology) for the year 2013 was announced in the second week of
August 2012. The GATE is scheduled to be held in the month of
January to February 2013.
Exam Pattern: The GATE examination consists of a single paper of
3.00 hours (180 minutes) Duration which contains 65 Questions carrying a
maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of only objective
questions. In all papers other than AE, AG, AR, GG, MN and TF, all the
questions are of multiple choice type. In AE, AG, AR, GG, MN and TF
papers, the question paper will consist of questions of multiple choice
type and also some questions of numerical answer type. For multiple
choice type questions, each question will have four choices for the
answer. For numerical answer type questions, each question will have a
number as the answer.
A.) It is imperative for students to know that all candidates need to apply online. , and the application fee is non-refundable.
B.) The student must first register themselves , by providing a valid email address. Upon registration, an email will be sent with a link. Candidates will be required to choose a password, so as to ensure that the data you provide is not accessible to any person other than yourself.
C.) The Next step is the application form . Students need to fill in the necessary data in the online application form following instructions given there. Upload the required soft copies of photo and signature.
