Exam Details: The Common Law Admission
Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination 2012 conducted by 14
National Law Universities for admissions to their Under-Graduate and
Post Graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). CLAT for admission to
NLSIU, NALSAR, NLIU, WBNUJS, HNLU, GNLU, RMLNLU, CNLU and RGNUL. Common
Law Admission Test 2012 is to be conducted on 13/05/2012.

Exam Pattern: Common Law Admission Test 2012 for Exam Paper are two Program i.e. A.) Undergraduate Program B.) Postgraduate Program
A.) For Undergraduate Program: Total Marks : 200 Total
number of questions : 200 Duration of examinations : Two Hours Subject
areas with weight age : English including Comprehension : 40 Marks
General Knowledge/ Current Affairs : 50 Marks Elementary Mathematics :
20 Marks (Numerical ability) Legal Aptitude/Legal Awareness : 45 Marks
Logical Reasoning : 45 Marks.
B.) For Postgraduate program: Total Marks : 200 Duration of
examination : Two Hours Subject areas : Law of Contracts,Law of Torts,
Criminal Law, Constitutional Law and Legal Theory Total number of
questions: i) Objective Type : 50 questions of one mark each ii) Short
answers : 10 questions of five marks each iii) Essay : Two questions of
50 marks each.
How to accomplished Candidature for this Recruitment: -
1.) Application forms along with the
CLAT-2012 information brochure will be available at the designated
branches (refer www.clat.ac.in) of the SBI, or in any of
Law Schools mentioned above against payment of Rs 3000/- only (Rs
2500/- in case of SC/ST/PwD on proof) inclusive of test fee and bank
charges.
2.) Request for application form can be
sent to the Convener, CLAT-2012, National Law University, Jodhpur,
NH-65, Nagour Road, Mandore, Jodhpur-342304, Rajasthan, with a DD of Rs
3000/- only, Rs 2500/- in case of SC/ST/PwD drawn in favor of the
National Law University, Jodhpur CLAT A/c and payable at Jodhpur,
Rajasthan

The duly filled in application form along with the demand draft and
other enclosures must reach to the Convener, CLAT-2012 at the address
