Exam Details: Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL), formerly Uttaranchal Power Corporation Ltd was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on February 12, 2001. UPCL is the Front-line State Power Distribution Utility & service provider of quality & reliable power supply to over 1.48 million consumers of electricity. How to get the application Form: Application fee for General and OBC category candidate is Rs 400 and fee for SC/ ST category candidates is Rs 200. The fee is to be paid through demand draft to be drawn in favor of EE (HQ), UPCL payable at Dehradun from a scheduled bank. Eligible candidates are required to submit their application in prescribed format to the address mentioned below. Application should be sent in an envelope super scribed as "Application for the post of Assistant Engineer (E & M or Civil)/ Junior Engineer (E & M or Civil) Trainee in UPCL" by ordinary post. Exam Pattern: Written Test Pattern: The examination shall comprise total 200 questions. The breakup of the questions shall be:
A.) Engineering Subject - 150
B.) General Knowledge - 20
C.) Reasoning - 20
D.) General Hindi - 10.
Eligible candidate can be selected on the basis of written examination (objective type) to be held at Agra, Allahabad, Lucknow, Meerut. Interview will be conducted at Lucknow. Short listed candidates on the basis of written test.
