About SBI: State Bank of India (SBI)
is the largest banking and financial services company in India by revenue,
assets and market capitalisation. It is a state-owned corporation with its
headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. As of March 2012, it had assets of US$360
billion and 14,119 branches, including 173 foreign offices in 37 countries
across the globe. Including the branches that belong to its associate banks,
SBI has 21,500 branches. SBI provides a range of banking products through its
vast network of branches in India and overseas, including products aimed at
non-resident Indians (NRIs).
Exam Name which is going to be held: Security Officers
Eligibility Criteria: Officer with five years commissioned service in Army or Air Force / a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP with five years’ service in that rank or officer of identical rank with five years’ service in Para-military services. Officers from the fighting arms will be given preference.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates for the post can be selected on the basis of shortlisting and interview. Merit List for selected can be prepared in descending order on the basis of marks scored in interview.
Application Fee Details: - Students can to pay Rs. 500/- for all others & Rs. 50/- for
SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates towards application Fee and Intimation Charges.
Payment through Offline Mode: Students can to pay application fee after submission of online application.
This can be done by taking the print out of system generated Challan form after
the submission of Online Application. Payment can be made at any branch of SBI
after 2nd working day after submission of online application and within three
working days. Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMSl after
three working days from the date of payment of fees.
Payment through Online Mode: After submission of Online
Application, students will be provided with an option to make payment through
online or offline mode. Students can select the Online Payment Gateway option
to make payment using Credit Card or Internet Banking. After making payment,
candidates must take print out of system generated E-receipt.
Exam Details: State Bank of India (SBI) has issued notification for recruitment of 61 Security Officers in Middle Management Grade Scale II in State Bank Group. Eligible candidates may apply online from 09/01/2013 to 24/01/2013.
