About BHU PMT: The Institute Of Medical Sciences (IMS-BHU) is one of the three
institutes of Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India and comprises three
faculties: 1) Faculty of Medicine, which conducts MBBS, B.Sc(Nursing), MD and
MS courses, DM and M.Ch courses, Ph.D courses and M.Sc. (Health Statistics)
besides a few postgraduate Diploma courses. 2) Faculty of Dental Sciences,
which conducts MDS and BDS courses. 3) Faculty of Ayurveda, which conducts
BAMS, B.Pharma(Ay), MD(Ay) and MS (Ay),
and Ph.D courses besides a few postgraduate Diploma courses.

Exam Details: Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will hold All
India Competitive Written Test for various Bachelor Degree courses such as
MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.Pharm Program in one stage PMT-2012 screening shall be held
on Wednesday, 16/05/2012 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad centres to
screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2012 main examination for
MBBS course which will be held on Sunday, 17/06/2012 at Varanasi center only.
Application Fee Details: - Application Fee for this recruitment is Rs. 1500/- For General Category and Rs. 1000/- For Reserved Category.

1. ) Application form can be obtained by cash Rs
1500/- for General/OBC and Rs 1000/- for SC/ST candidates from the following
branches of Bank of Baroda; Varanasi-BHU-SS Hospital branch, Ram Katora branch,
Orderly bazaar.
2.) Application form will be sent by speed post. The request for
application form must include the name and address of the candidate, and full
particulars of the enclosed DD/BC (with candidate’s name and address on the
back of demand draft), Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips
of 10 cm 6cm size must also accompany it. The requisition for PMT application
form should be superscribed “Request for application form for PMT-2012, BHU”
