Exam Details: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Common Written Examination has been approved by each of the 19 participating Public Sector Banks and the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) with the consent of Government of India. The written examination for recruitment of Specialist Officers will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively on 11th March 2012.
About IBPS SPECIALIST OFFICERS: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various cadres like IT, Technical, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR, etc. and also in Rashtrabhasha in 19 Public Sector Banks. The Common Written Examination (CWE) for Specialist officers will be conducted twice a year by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. IBPS the most common banking exam in India given by almost every banking aspirant, every year lacks of candidate have appeared in this exam.

1.The last date to online application form submission is 21st, January, 2012.
2. Eligible Candidate have to upload latest photograph along with signature in online mode,and ensure that all personal information about date of birth,qualifications and names should be correct.And take print out after filling and submitting the application form immediately.
3. Candidates have to giver an E-Mail ID and Phone Number.because of after successful submission of online application form,ibps generates and will sent Registration number and password to your mail/phone number.
4. ibps specialist officer call letters/hall tickets will be issued in online only.by entering your registration number and password,get your hall ticket to take written exam.
5. Candidates have to apply in ibps official websit of ibps.in

1. All the Tests will be in Objective Type & is printed in Bilingual Format, except for English Paper.
2. The Specialist Officers Common Written Examination consists of 200 Objective Type Questions, each question carries one mark totally 200 marks and the time duration is 120 minutes (2.00 hours).

Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer in objective type Exam. If for any question a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as wrong Answer.
