North Western Railway Recruitment 2013-14
North Western Railway has invitation of the
applications from the aspirants for the posts of Group- C and D in sports Quota
under various sports viz. Athletics (8) [(4) men (4) women], Basketball (4) men,
Boxing (2) [(1) man (1) woman] , Hockey (6) men, Wrestling (2) men, Archery (3)
men, Cycling (1) man, Golf (1) man, Kabaddi (1) man, Shooting [(3) men/women].
Total vacancy: 31 Vacancies
Limitation of Age: The age of
the aspirant has to be in between 18 yrs to 25 yrs as on 1st Jan
2014.
Education: The
applicant must have done at least matrics. The sports eligibility is of the
sports quota is that applicant must have represented in any of the sports
mentioned above in any of the following namely Asian Championship /Commonwealth
Championship (Junior/Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior) /
Asia Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior) OR
Federation Cup Championships (Senior category) and obtained at least 3rd
position OR State unit in Youth/ Senior/ Junior National Championships OR all
Units & Districts of the State in the Senior State Championship and
attained 3rd position. More details can be seen from official notification.
Application Fees: For Group C
applicant has to pay the fee of Rs. 60/- for GP of Rs.2400/- or Rs.2800/- and
Rs.40/- for the GP of Rs.1800/- or Rs.1900/- it has to be paid in form of DD or
IPO. It has to be drawn in favor of (division wise headquarters name is given
in the official notice).
Pay Structure: Pay band-I of Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- with the grade pay of Rs.1800/-, Rs.1900/- , Rs.2400/- , Rs.2800/-
.
Selection Method: The applicant will be called for interview on these grounds.
Applicants will be facing the sports category exam, intelligence test,
personality, skills, games, physical fitness etc.
Method to Apply: The applicants must send the applications in the given format. It
must be submitted by 26th of August 2013.
Concluding
day for the carrying out of application is August 26th 2013.
