AMIE stands for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers. Simply speaking, it is an engineering degree course recognized by all State Governments, Central Govt., UPSC etc as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech. That means, those who successfully complete AMIE will get equal opportunities for job as well as higher education, just like a B.E or B.Tech holder.

1.    Go to http://www.ieindia.info/ExamAB.aspx
2.    Fill AMIE Winter examination form on screen. Press Print button to take print.
3.    Click on Payment Gateway and do the transaction.
4.    Take print of receipt which appears after making payment.
5.    You have to send copy of printed form and payment receipt to IEI to the following address: 8  Gokhale Road, Kolkata – 700020, West Bengal.
