Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) Ltd is inviting applications
for the position Graduate Marine Engineer (GME). Applicants who wish to apply

Qualifications: Applicant must
hold the degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Automation
Engineering from AICTE registered Engineering College only. Final year
/ semester students who have appeared for in the exam and expect their results
by date 30/08/2015 can also apply.
Criteria of Age: The age of the
candidate must be less than 28 yrs of age as on 1st of Oct.
2015. The age relaxation rule is pertinent as per the government rules. Relaxation
in maximum age to SC/ST as per existing Government guidelines
Cost of Application: Rs.1000/- for
Gen & OBC and Rs.500/- for SC/ST category the fee has to be deposited
through NEFT and obtain UTR No. from the respective bank.

& Course Fee: Shortlisted
candidate has to undergo shore based training for 8 months. The fee for training
is around Rs.4 lakhs for male applicants and around 3.35 lakhs for female
applicants should pay fee directly to the Maritime Training Institute (MTI),
Powai.
Fixed
Remuneration: Rs.
Consolidated starting salary worth Rs.15,000/- per month will be paid to
candidates for onboard training.
Procedure to Apply: The applicants
having interest in the Graduate Marine Engineering Course may apply online from
26th June 2015 to 20th of July 2015. On saving
on-line application with registration number, candidate should download the
printout of application form. The application form along with all attached
