Educational
Qualifications: The candidates will be held eligible for the concerned post
only if they have a Bachelors degree from any of the recognized institution and
they must have passed Matriculation in Punjabi language. Also, the candidates
have the opportunity to get the qualification of Matriculation with Punjabi
language after joining of 6 months. But the candidates must obtain this
qualification within 6 months from the date of joining otherwise their
candidature will be cancelled for the said post.
Age
Criteria for Selection: The age limit
for the selection to the post of Inspector requires the following age
Boundation:
1. General-
18-38 years
2. SC/ST-
18-43 years
3. Widows,
divorcees and other categories of women: 18-42 years
4. Applicants
working under government service: 18-45 years
5. Physically
Handicapped: 18-42 years
The age-relaxations will be given as
per the government rules.
Citizen-ship: All Indian Nationals can apply.
Pay
Scale: Rs.10,300-34,800+Grade Pay- Rs.4200;
Initial Pay- Rs.16,290
Application
Procedure: The candidates who wish to apply for
the above posts should apply online from the official site in the manner
prescribed before 9th November 2013. The application fee for
application can be paid through a bank challan of Rs.800 (GEN) and Rs.200
(SC/ST) in any branch of State Bank of Patiala drawn in favor of Department of
Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
