Educational Eligibility: Applicant should be 10th
Post Graduation Medical Degree/ Diploma in respective discipline from

bio data, originals & attested copies of age proof, MBBS Degree with no.of
attempts certificate, MD/ MS/ DNB Degree/ Provisional certificate, Medical

OBC certificate, demand draft duly attested by Gazetted Officer on 09-04-2014

Name of the Organization : JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical
Education and Research)
Total number of Vacancies: 61 posts
Name of Vacancies: Professors and Assistant Professors
Age limit: Candidate’s age should be between 50 years - 58 years. Age
Relaxation for reserved candidates as per state government rules and norms.
Education and Qualification details:
Candidates should have Ph.D /
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in the required stream from recognized University
/ Institution.
Application process Charges:
For all General and OBC candidates will
pay Rs. 500/- as application fee.
For all Reserved candidates will pay
Rs.250/- as application fee.
It should be deposited through bank
demand draft in the favour of the Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry payable
at State Bank of India, JIPMER Branch, Puducherry-605006.
Salary Band:
For Professors Post : Rs. 37400/- to
67000/ + GP Rs. 10500/-.
For Assistant Professors Post : Rs.
15600/- to 39100/- + GP Rs. 8000/- .
