Vacancy in United Bank of India (UBI)
United Bank of India, Kolkata has invited online applications from
eligible and capable individuals for the selection of 100 Probationary Officer
(JMG Scale I) through one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance
(PGDBF). Keen and qualified candidates fulfilling the required eligibility
norms can apply online from 28.06.2016 to 12.07.2016. Details regarding United

Tentative No. of Vacancy: 100 Posts
(i) General – 51 Posts
(ii) OBC – 27 Posts
(iii) SC – 15 Posts
(iv) ST – 07 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates
should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized
University/Institution.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be in
the range of 21-30 years as on 01.06.2016, i.e., candidate must have been born
not earlier than 02.06.1986 and not later than 01.06.1995 (both days
inclusive).
Relaxation in upper age limit:
- 05 years for SC/ ST, Ex- Servicemen,
- 03 years for OBC and
- 10 years for PH candidates.
Selection Methodology: Suitable
candidates will be selected based on Online Test followed by Personal Interview
and or Group Discussion (GD). The Written Test will be Objective type
comprising Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and
General Awareness carrying 50 marks each.
Application Fee: Candidates
belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category should pay Rs. 150/- and all others to pay
Rs. 700/- as application fee (non-refundable) through online by using Debit
Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking,
IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may
apply online through website www.unitedbankofindia.com from 28.06.2016 to
12.07.2016. Candidates are advised to read the contents of the advertisement
before registering online. Candidates should keep ready the scanned images of
their latest photograph (passport size) and full signature.

(i) Log on to the Bank’s website www.unitedbankofindia.com
(ii) Go to the ‘RECRUITMENT’ and open the link “Online application
for Admissions to PGDBF Course”
(iii) Now click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” and open the link “Click
here for New Registration”,
(iv) Register online application by filling requisite details,
(v) Enter all the details in the application form,
(vi) Verify the details and click “Final Submit” button
(vii) Upload scanned images of photograph and signature,
(viii) Click on the “Payment” option and pay the requisite fee
(ix) After making payment, click the submit button
(x) Take the e a printout of their system generated online
application form for further reference.
