Educational Qualification & Experience:

(i) Post Graduation in Economics with specialization in monetary/financial economics/ econometrics from an Indian or reputed foreign University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies / AICTE.
(ii) Additional qualification such as MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGPM/PGDM (Preferably in Finance) through a 2 years full time course will be preferred.
(iii) Minimum 5 years experience as an Economist or Analyst with Banking or Financial Institutions.
(iv) Adequate knowledge of computer is essential.
(v) Working knowledge of Hindi language is required.

Age Limit: Minimum & maximum age prescribed for the post is 21 years and 35 years respectively. Age will be calculated as on 01.06.2016. Relaxation in upper age limit to reserved categories will be as per Government directives and rules.


Salary Payable: Selected candidate will be paid initial scale of Rs. 50,030 – 59,170/- per month. In addition to the basic pay DA, HRA, CCA and other allowances & benefits in force from time to time would be added to the salary.

Criteria for Selection: Process of selection for the post of Economist involves various stages as provided below:-

(i) All the applications received by the screening committee will be shortlisted on the basis of educational qualification & experience acquired by the applicants,
(ii) Only shortlisted candidates would be invited for Group Discussion/Interview.
