(UPSC)
invites online applications from capable and keen personnel for filling up the
post of Engineers through Engineering Services Examination 2016. Candidates can take action for applying for the job
position available at the moment as the vacancy will close 25.03.2016. Applicants
will have to abide by the terms and condition of the post as provided below:-

Tentative No. of Vacancy – There will be total 602 Posts to be filled up including 32 posts
reserved for Physically Handicapped (PH)
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Engineers Services Examination
2016
Qualification Recommended – The candidates must be a possessor of Degree in Engineering
from any recognized university OR obtain degree/diploma in Engineering of a
recognized university/ institution OR any other qualification approved by Govt.
of India.
Age Bar – The
candidate should be more than 21 years and less than 30 years as on 1st
January 2016. The relaxation in upper age limit will be available for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen
as per prescribed rules of the Govt. Maximum age allowed for Govt. servants is
35 years provided that they satisfy certain conditions.
Examination
Fee – Candidates belonging to General and OBC
category are required to make payment of Rs. 200/- either by remitting the
requisite amount in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net
banking facility of
State Bank of India or its associate Banks
or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card. Female/SC/ST/ PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Method
of Selection – The recruitment process will
consist of combined competitive examination followed by interview/personality
test and medical examination.
Procedure
of Applying – Interested candidates who meet
the above job specifications are requested to apply online through UPSC website
www.upsconline.nic.in
The registration site will be
enabled up to 25/03/2016 till 11:59 PM.
Candidates should go through
the instructions available in the official circular.
Application form should be
submitted online. The successful candidates will have
to send the printout of Detailed Application Form (DAF) with each page duly
signed along with the certified copies of the relevant certificates to the
Commission. Original papers will have to be produced at the time of interview.

Due date for applying online –
- Candidates have time limit for a period up to 25th March 2016 (11:59 PM) to submit application via online mode.
- Candidates can deposit fee up to 24th March 2016 till 11:59 PM
- Combined competitive examination will be conducted from 27th May 2016
- Result of written examination will be declared tentatively in the Month of December 2016.
